GLYNN THOMAS - Around and About (Mon-Fri 12-2pm)
As Head of Community Programming, Glynn is responsible for the Community Team and its interface with community groups and organisations in Wirral.
As one of the founder members of Radio Catherine (which became Arrowe Sound Hospital Radio in 1981), Glynn was Programme Controller 1973 – 1986. He presented a Sunday evening magazine programme featuring interviews and news from around the locality. His passion for radio was evident at school where he managed to convince an English teacher that he be allowed to produce the class magazine on tape in the form of a radio programme. Media training didn't exist in the 1960's!
Glynn jumped at the opportunity of becoming involved in 7 Waves Community Radio, initially as a student on RSL2. Technology had moved on from turntables, reel-to-reel tape, splicing blocks and razor blades so Glynn had to become acquainted with the digital studio and editing.
His level of commitment to the
Station could not be sustained whilst working
full-time. Fortunately, a well timed voluntary
redundancy exercise enabled him to take early
retirement and join 7 Waves Community Radio's
management team.

CAZZ LEWIS
- Community Hour (Thursdays 7-8pm)
The Teen Team (Fridays
7-8pm)
Having an interest in the Arts and Theatre,
31 year old Cazz co-presents the "Arts Alive" features on "Around and About"
Her interests revolve around (or should that be pirouette!) drama and dance. As a former member of the Riverside Theatre Group, she discovered another hidden talent - as a singer! Cazz spent 10 years as a ballerina and her claim to fame was dancing on stage at the London Palladium for ITV's “Sunday Night Live”.
She is also a busy Mum to Rebekah (10) and Jordan
(12)
Cazz's musical tastes are extremely varied - everything from Opera to Hard Core Dance. Her favourite artist is Madonna. Favourite dance DJ is Alex K.
Ambitions – would like to be a Formula 1 race circuit marshal. She would also like to record her own dance track – no doubt putting those vocal talents to good use!

RORY
ANDERSON - The Teen Team (Fridays 7-8pm)
"
Hey, my name is Rory and I am 15 years old. I am
currently hard at work at Birkenhead School, trying
desperately to achieve some decent grades for GCSEs!
I
love little funny one liners, I try and use them as
much as I can. One of my favourites has to be
“Change is inevitable, except from a vending
machine.” I get most of mine from programmes like
Scrubs, Friends and Skins. For anybody who watches
Friends; I like to think of myself as a Chandler -
sort of guy.
I
love everything about radio and it’s my biggest
hobby. You can catch me on "Teen Team", Friday Nights from
7-8 with Cazz Lewis. "
